NEW VERTICAL MACHINING CENTRE
TOR.MEC AMBROSI has recently replaced a vertical machining centre with X stroke limited to 600 mm with a new Mikron machine model VCE 1000Pro
with X stroke of 1000 mm.
The machine has been operating since mid February 2008 and will enable the company to machine items with larger dimensions than in the past. It is
controlled by a Heidenhain digital CNC and is directly connected to the company network; the programs generated by the company CAD-CAM are entered
directly in the machine memory. The technology of this CNC also permits the generation of paths on 3D surfaces.
