Workshop

For TOR.MEC Ambrosi, the work environment is an important aspect in terms of the company's ambitions.
Cleanness, care of the equipment and observance of the programmed maintenance schedules are principles with which all the company collaborators are required to comply.
Machining operations, both milling and turning, are performed mainly with CNC machines.
The additional work, spare parts, tooling operations and small-scale emergencies are handled by traditional machines always controlled by qualified experienced personnel.

Technical production sheets

The operations required to obtain the parts ordered are collected and historicised in the company database and made available in the workshop via the technical production sheets.

They contain all the following data:

• type and quantity of raw material
• data for cutting and preparation of the blanks
• machines scheduled for the work
• production times and methods
• specific tools for each operation
• CNC programs to be used
• subsequent or intermediate treatments
• operations performed by outside suppliers
• reference to specific test plans to be used

Tools

The choice of workshop equipment is designed to enable the personnel to achieve the best results. TOR.MEC Ambrosi continuously invests in new cutting edge equipment.
The operators are also provided with their own set of tools and measuring instruments to increase their sense of responsibility vis-à-vis the operations performed.
