Quality reports

Every item produced in TOR.MEC Ambrosi is tested during the production process with auto-control system by the operators who observe the specific quality system procedure. The test results are recorded on the production sheet of the component produced. In the case of particularly critical components, a specific test plan is drawn up which serves as a specific guide for the controls to be performed. The data identified are recorded in tables and kept by the company.
Via this system TOR.MEC Ambrosi has minimised production waste, guaranteeing traceability of the components also in relation to the dimensions recorded.

Standard room

TOR.MEC Ambrosi has a standard room with stabilised temperature used for specific product testing and control of the production cycles. By intervening in advance on the machine offsets, possible deviations in dimensions due to wear of the cutting equipment or structural variations due to variations in temperature are avoided, with consequent stabilisation of the production cycle.

Measuring machine

The company makes extensive use of a DEA 3D measuring machine installed in the standard room and equipped with temperature sensors on all the axes for optimal testing of the components coming from production. The testing software allows clear complete test reports to be drawn up with graphic indication of the trend of the dimensions measured. 
The test reports are generally generated directly in PDF standard format and can therefore be sent to the client or filed digitally. 

Alukeep flexible system

TOR.MEC Ambrosi has designed and produced its own Alukeep modular system for repeatable positioning of the components to be tested with the 3D measuring machine. This system has met with considerable success at national and international level thanks to its simplicity of use and the complete range of component elements. The advantage of the modular system is the rapidity with which the machine can be set up for the measurements to be performed. In fact, thanks to the patented SJS (single joint system) and the pallets with reference on 3 spheres, only a few seconds are required to switch from testing of one component to another of different type without having to perform a new manual alignment of the piece. This allows non-qualified operators to use the machine for measurements also during night shifts when the machine technician is off duty.

Instrument calibration

All the TOR.MEC Ambrosi measuring and testing instruments are annually inspected by SIT-certified outside suppliers who verify the measuring uncertainty and perform any corrective action.
The instruments show the uncertainty field indications and the subsequent inspection date so that each operator can choose the instrument that guarantees the highest reliability for the testing required.

Test instruments

In addition to the standard room with 3D measuring machine, the workshop is equipped with all instruments for checks during production, all periodically verified and therefore guaranteed as regards efficiency and measuring precision.
The instrument measurement uncertainty tables are displayed in all the work areas for immediate identification of the most suitable testing equipment.
