CADCAM

The tool path processing software used by TOR.MEC Ambrosi is TopSolid, provided with the following extensions:

• 2.5 axis milling
• 3 axis continuous milling
• 5 axis positioned milling
• 5 axis continuous milling
• Turning
• Multitasking turning
• 5 axis path verification with collision check

The TopSolid environment allows the TOR.MEC Ambrosi technicians to concentrate fully on their work.
The Cad and Cam interfaces coexist so that the user does not have to switch from one software to another, thus simplifying work.

TopSolid is a completely associative software.
This means that any operation performed is stored and linked to the others and is reflected in the end result.
Subsequent modification of a parameter or of the specific data of a feature triggers subsequent update of the machining cycles and consequently the tool paths to be sent to the CNC machines.

Compatibility

The software has been chosen not only for the above optimal characteristics but also due to its high level of compatibility with other widespread CAD systems used by TOR.MEC Ambrosi's clients on a daily basis. The link between the company technical department and that of its clientele is therefore considered very important and means that TOR.MEC Ambrosi is always able to speed through to the production stage.
